The ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Organization, its founders and members will be celebrating its 6 year anniversary June 30. Although, the ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Organization has suffered attacks from the enemy collectively and individually over the years, we as an organization have stood firm in our beliefs and faith in God. We have been tried in the areas of health, finances, reputation, integrity, family, friends, business, personal issues, etc and the list goes on and on. We refuse to give up, lay down, or surrender to the tactics and antics of the enemy because we are not ignorant of his devices. We trust in and look to God for everything. We are declaring like Job, “But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. (Job 23:10-12)
The ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Organization was founded by Brenda Johnson Padgitt, Eunice Bridges, and Glenda Fields, who are soldiers and warriors for God. They have been tried and tested and can testify of the goodness of God first hand. The ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Organization also has other members who can testify of God’s power, mercy, healing, and promises. As an organization, we are Ambassadors Sent With Information For This Time. We are ASWIFTT! On June 30, 2010, Brenda, Eunice and Glenda came in agreement to start the ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Organization to mentor, support & help develop guild members in their chosen craft. ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild plays a key role in helping guild members to discover & use their God given talents to impact the world. Because of our God given assignment, we are well aware that the enemy is furious and continues to send attacks our way. In carrying out our mission, it is our desire to bring truth, healing, unity, reconciliation, and to set captives free. In six years, God has used our ASWIFTT members to minister, help, and educate the masses through the Literary, Visual, & Performing Arts.

This book was written to encourage readers to get involved and become strong advocates for children because “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child.”

Here at ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild, our hearts are heavy and we are grieved at the continuous loss of our nation’s children who choose to commit suicide to escape bullying or other issues of life. This is an attack of the enemy who is an invisible force that orchestrates tragic events. It is everyone’s responsibility to keep watch, protect, defend and educate our children. They are precious.
It is unfortunate that children are forced to figure out, make decisions, and take things into their own hands when adult intervention is nowhere to be found. The enemy is having a field day keeping adults in confusion on issues that should be easy to solve, while he is taking our children.
Again I am calling on “The Village” to step up and take responsibility for our children. Our children depend on adults to lead the way. In no way should any child be forced to make adult decisions. We force children into making decisions they are not mature enough to make.
Tragedies happen when adults fail to take responsibilities head on to come up with solutions that are safe-havens for our kids.
In April and June of 2013 the founders of ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild, Brenda Johnson Padgitt, Glenda Fields, Eunice Bridges and special guest Michael Guinn, did the broadcast “What About Our Children?” Part I and Part II. With the recent rise in suicides among our nation’s children and the gross issue of bullying, ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Founders are charged to speak out again on these issues.
Brenda Johnson Padgitt, Glenda Fields and Eunice Bridges are currently working on the book project “What About Our Children?” It is set to be released on June 15, 2015. Brenda, Glenda and Eunice felt a need to come together to transform the broadcast “What About Our Children?” into a tangible book for parents, guardians, mentors, teachers, etc to learn more about the issues our children face daily.
Our children need us! Getting involved with the youth of your community is needed like never before. We need role models, mentors, teachers, coaches, parents, and guardians. If you are not involved with an organization, business, school, recreation center, etc that reaches out to kids below is a list of organizations. Please choose one today!
Brenda Johnson, Glenda Fields and Eunice Bridges were co-hosts on ASWIFTT RADIO on October 29, 2011. They discussed membership requirements and benefits, the importance of networking, mentorship, publishing options and more. Listen to what the ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild founders had to share.
