ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild To Discuss Careers in “The ARTS” at Henry W. Longfellow Academy Career Day
ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Co-Founder, Brenda Johnson Padgitt, will be apart of this year’s career day at Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy. Dallas ISD Principal Lorena Hernandez and the staff of Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy feel that the annual career day event is a great way to enlighten students about opportunities that await them after graduation. Every year their school solicit parents and business owners in the community to come and share their experiences and job duties with the students. The event is scheduled for September 23, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy located at 5314 Boaz Street, Dallas, Texas 75209.
The ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild organization was founded by Brenda Johnson Padgitt, Eunice Bridges and Glenda Fields in June of 2010 to mentor, support & help develop guild members in their chosen craft. ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild plays a key role in helping guild members to discover & use their God given talents to impact the world. ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild is for the author, artist, playwright, movie producer, director, journalist, etc. who has the talent to put pen or brush to paper to create a unique & valuable piece of work.
