The Basics of Writing

ASWIFTT members start with The Basics of Writing when they become members of ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild.  The Basics of Writing online class helps members review, understand and master the mechanics of writing.  In this course members are taught the fundamentals of writing from beginning to end.

The use of Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Proper Nouns, Pronouns and more are discussed in the course to help writers develope creative ways to use words in projects such as books, plays, short stories and movies.  The course also helps writers to understand the proper usage of different words.

The Basics of Writing is a required training course for all ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild members.  The ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild organization provides a writing foundation for its members.

ASWIFTT Training Sharpens Skills

ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild members receive on-going free online training classes to help sharpen their Literary, Visual and Performing Arts skills.  When you become a member of ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild you join an organization of members who work to be proficient, expedient and accurate in their craft.  Training classes are lead and taught by ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Founders, Special Guests or Hired Trainers.

The Education and Training Curriculum is developed and implemented by Brenda Johnson Padgitt.  She has taught and tutored Pre-K to College.  She teaches her own online writing classes at  Ms. Padgitt, Ms. Bridges and Mrs. Fields goal is to mentor and help develop its members in their chosen craft to impact the world.
